SALVATIONAL WORDS SPOKEN BY JESUS

Jesus said these four words:

Repent - Born Again – Regenerated – Converted

It's not enough to say you believe or have faith - the disciples had plenty of both - Jesus was talking to them and He said;

Matthew 19:28
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Jesus did not say here, believe in me, He said to follow Him. He did not mean from town to town, He meant through the regeneration process. This is salvation. Follow me through DEATH, BURIAL and RESURRECTION - Acts 2:38

Matthew 19:21
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

The salvation process makes you perfect in God's eyes! You are alive in Him!

We must be reborn by regeneration and conversion!

Lets look at supporting scriptures.

Born Again

John 3
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

That is a powerful statement so, why don't more people enquire about being born again?

John 3
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

All humans are born of the flesh but not all humans are born of the spirit. Being born of the spirit is a special gift.
Do we need to ask Christ to come into our hearts to be saved?
I have not read that in the bible yet, this is what is being taught by many so called educated theologians.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

The words 'born again' were mentioned by Peter as well.
1 Peter 1
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Jesus is the Word of God, the Father, the Word was made flesh, the Holy Ghost was sent in the name of Christ. Christ is the incorruptible seed of LIFE.

Therefore, being born of the spirit is to be born of incorruptible seed.

Explanation of being Born Again

Jesus said you MUST be born again of the spirit or you will NOT enter the kingdom. We are already born in the flesh but we need to be re-born by the spirit. When we are born on earth we come from a seed that produces flesh. Peter called it being born with a corruptible seed which means it is corrupted, cursed and doomed to die. When we get 'born again' by receiving the Holy Ghost we are born with an incorruptible seed, the good seed of LIFE that makes us children of the kingdom which Jesus mentions. The Holy Ghost is the seed of LIFE given by the Father as a gift to us after we receive His Son in the regeneration.

What is the Incorruptible Seed?

The incorruptible seed is the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is the seed of LIFE from the Father. The Holy Ghost is also called the Comforter. The Holy Ghost was sent in the name of Christ. Christ in you is your hope of glory. If you do not have Christ in you then you are none of His and, you WILL be rejected no matter how well you live your life.

Lets look at more supporting scriptures.

Jesus talks about being the Sower of Good Seed

Matthew 13
36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; (Christ)
38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

Christ is the Holy (seed) Spirit - as you can see by Jesus words that if you have not received the good seed then you are not going to enter the kingdom of God. Jesus said in his parable the tares are the children of the wicked one. This means that everyone born in the flesh is of the wicked one, cursed and subject to death.

Did you know that you are born separated from God and destined for death?

Lets look at the word Converted

Matthew 18 Jesus said.
3 Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus said you must be born again to enter the kingdom - which means to be converted.

What does converted mean? It means converted from DEATH to LIFE by receiving the seed of LIFE.

Jesus talking to Peter
Luke 22
32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

Peter did not have the power to strengthen his brethren until he was converted from DEATH to LIFE by receiving the Holy Ghost in him. The Holy Ghost is a gift from the Father after we are baptized into Jesus Christ. So how did Peter strengthen his brethren? All the disciples received the Holy Ghost the same day as Peter. So whom did Peter strengthen?

Acts 8
14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

Jesus fortold Peter to do this when he told him to strengthen his brethren (in Christ).

Acts 3
19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

We will be like Him at His appearing, we will be changed with a twinkling of an eye, those that are His.

Jesus said that Peter would be strengthen after his conversion. Conversion is when we are filled with the Holy Spirit, at that time we are converted from DEATH to LIFE. We are changed from a corruptible seed to an incorruptible seed. We are the children of the Kingdom - we are the good seed. We are born again of the Spirit. We are children of the kingdom.

Acts 2
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Peter was strengthen after his conversion with power from on high after he received the Holy Ghost.

Luke 24
49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

The Holy Ghost is a gift from the Father. It's powerful – more than we can imagine.

Acts 3 The power of conversion.
6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

Peter BOLDLY and with AUTHORITY healed a man shortly after his conversion. Peter was not just a believer but he was now a possessor of the Holy Ghost / CHRIST was in him. PETER WAS SAVED.

Regeneration

Matthew 19
28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Titus 3
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

What is Regeneration?

*We are saved by two processes. Washing of Regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Ghost. To be regenerated is to be made brand new through the new birth – it's through the new birth we receive a new name and a new family. We are further changed by the Holy Ghost when we receive the new seed of LIFE.

Jesus said to follow Him through the regeneration process. So what is the regeneration process? We MUST follow Jesus through DEATH, BURIAL and RESURRECTION - the same experience He had on the cross with one exception - we don't actually die. Jesus died for us and opened the door to the kingdom and all we have to do is to follow Him.

Repentance

Matthew 9
13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Repentance is to change your life around from living without God to living for and with God. Righteous people have already made this change in their life but it's the sinners that need to repent. Babies and young children also don't need to repent but everyone needs to be baptized in Jesus name as soon as you hear the words of salvation. Many in the bible immediately got baptized when they first heard the words of salvation. Do not hesitate to become the good seed of the kingdom of God. You don't know when the door is going to close.

The salvation message in the bible is very clearly written yet, so many avoid following God's complete words on salvation. Some stop at just believing, trusting or having faith but that is not salvation, they only lead to salvation.

What must we do to be saved?

We need to be born again, regenerated and converted and we do this by baptism into Jesus Christ.

In Acts 2 Peter is preaching to about five thousand people about Jesus. After the people understood more about Jesus and the kingdom of God, they said to Peter and the other apostles;

Men and brethren, what must we do. The people were asking how they can make their wrongs right and how they may enter God's Kingdom. Remember, the disciples were told to preach the kingdom of God and how one may enter. They were also told to baptize people for salvation to enter the Kingdom.

The people were seeking the kingdom of God when they asked that question.
Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Acts 2
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

This process makes you Born Again by Regeneration and Conversion

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

The people believed, they trusted and, they had enough faith in Peter's message when he said you need to be baptized into Jesus name.
That day there were three thousand souls added to the kingdom of God!

47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

*Do you want to be added to the Kingdom of God by being the good seed?

Or do you what to remain cursed by being the seed of the wicked one that does not enter God's kingdom?

It does NOT matter how good you are or how much you love the Lord, for
if you are not born again of the good seed of LIFE you will be rejected.

CHRIST IN YOU IS YOUR 'ONLY' HOPE OF GLORY

Colossians 1
27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Romans 8
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Apostle Paul explains in detail the baptism process in Romans 6. It explains how we follow Jesus into the kingdom.

3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

**Stop believing all the other ways you have been told to be saved – this is the ONLY way to get saved.

Galatians 1
9 As we said before, so say I now again,if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Paul is clearly affirming there is only ONE way to be saved - One way to remove the curse - One path to the kingdom.

Also note: Paul is not putting a curse on people, a plague or some kind of a hoax when he makes that statement. Paul is stating a true fact. He is saying, 'if you are not saved according to what he has preached then you are still under the curse, the sin of the world, which is DEATH and separated from God.'

John 1:29
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Remember, the Holy Ghost is the seed of LIFE which converts us from DEATH to LIFE making us the good seed and children of the kingdom. This is also why you do not withhold baptism from children or from anyone. Salvation is an urgent matter of LIFE and DEATH.

Matthew 25
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Matthew 7
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Build your house upon a ROCK! What is the ROCK?
Matthew 16
15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. THE ROCK IS CHRIST
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven:...
*The keys to enter the kingdom of God is clearly stated in Acts 2:38 and many other places as well.

When you get saved – you receive His name – you receive the good seed of LIFE – you have removed the curse of death and He WILL know YOU at His appearing.
